Murat is leaving in Vatikan to take an award for Demir role and for huge success of the series there, and before that he will visit Greece... "Murat Yildirim’s fame, Asi’s “Demir”, will soon reach beyond the borders of Turkey and will extend across Europe. To crown his career as an artist in Turkey the last few years, he will be the International Artist who will be honored as the Best Actor of 2012 at the International Guiseppe Sciacca awards that will take place on November 10th in Vatican City. The actor’s first contact with The Greek Arts Committee of said Awards took place during the summer, when the Greek delegation met him in Istanbul and officially announced to the actor that he had been selected to receive the award in the category “Cinema and Theatre”. It goes without saying that he and his agents gladly accepted the prestigious award as this is an international acknowledgement of his talent.Murat Yildirim, with humbleness and joy stated that “this award in Vatican City is a huge honor for me and my country. I promise to contribute to the propagation of human values, the promotion of young scientific and artistic talent internationally, as well as of culture and volunteerism”. The next appointment with the actor will be in Athens, a few days before he receives the awards and, afterwards, in Vatican City, where Murat will travel for the first time.Deputy General Secretary of the Awards, Ms. Vicky Bafataki, stated that the Guiseppe Sciacca awards open cultural roads to art, roads without borders, and Murat Yildirim’s Award seals the friendship between people beyond religions with the main focus being on the propagation of culture globally. In the photo we can see the members of the Greek Committee of the International Giuseppe Sciacca Awards: From left to right: Greek Representative, Communications Manager for Turkey, Murat Yildirim, event and press coordinator for Greece and Deputy General Secretary of the Awards""
